Combustion blower and ignitor cycling.

I'm new to the site, and came across this handy place while searching for an answer to the problem I'm about to detail. I just bought a house, and it has a gas furnace which checked out in the initial inspection. I work in HVAC, but specialize in geothermal units primarily, so I have little experience with natural gas heat. The unit maintains the temperature that the t-stat is set on, but I have noticed that it has started kicking the combustion blower and the ignitor on, almost like clockwork, every 10-20 seconds until the t-stat calls for heat, after which the unit kicks in as expected. Then when the temp is satisfied, it goes back to the combustion/ignitor cycling. I've seen several threads that discuss how to deal with combustion blowers that cycle in this manner, but none that also have the ignitor element heating up as well. I'm not currently living in the home yet, so I don't have the make/model on hand, if anyone could make use of that information (which I could get tomorrow), but I'm just trying to get a feel for whats going on. As of right now, I decided to shut the unit down until I know more about what is causing the problem. I appreciate any direction in advance.

Isuzu 4ZE1 engine miss.

G'day from Australia I have an Isuzu 4ZE1 in my ute (pick up). Marketed here as a Holden Rodeo but maybe some Chevy or something where you are? Any way it has developed a miss. Very uneven and jerky driving at low speeds. Seems to be ok when under full load or fast highway speeds but terrible when driven around town. I have replaced, the spark plugs, leads, fuel filter, and air filter element. Nothing made any difference. I have since replaced the engine (I cooked the other one). I fitted a rebuilt long motor which means I had to swap over all the manifolds etc. Problem is the same, although I have more torque now. New motor against one that had done 440,000 km would explain that bit. I don't know much about fuel injected petrol engines. I work on heavy vehicle diesels most of the time. Should I be looking at the injectors or the MAF sensor or what?

Help: Installing Lennox Power Humidifier to a Nest Thermostat (pic heavy)

Hi all, First post here. I posted this question on the Nest forums, and one wonderful person has helped me there, but I was hoping I could get some more opinions here since this seems a bit more active. This post is pic heavy! I'm setting up my nest to use with my Lennox HCWP3-18 power humidifier: Healthy Climate® Whole-Home Power Humidifier | Lennox Residential (http://www.lennox.com/products/indoor-air-quality-systems/HCWP18/) . I assume this humidifier is a "Stand Alone" type, since it is a power one, and from my understanding it operates independently of the furnace, since it has it's own fan. I would have gotten the pro to do it when they installed the humidifier, but they only support honeywell. The solenoid does not activate.
