Considering buying a home with baseboard electric

I live in NY. It's a 2 story, 2300 Sq. ft. house. Got the utility bills. Averages about 450-500 during the winter months. They have a pellet stove downstairs. I'm looking at the house again on Friday with a heating/cooling contractor. Thinking about converting to natural gas forced air with central air. How much does it usually cost to add those while adding the ducts? Any cheaper alternatives? Thanks! I know literally nothing about this.
