Blower motor replacement in old GE

I had a tech replace my blower motor and it died quickly. He gave me no warranty and wants full price to change again. So I opted to do it myself. The furnace is a GE BLD080E936B1. The blower motor he used was a Recuse universal unit. I am using a Mars universal unit with the appropriate HP, RPMs, etc. I copied his wiring and it keeps tripping the breaker. I don't even have to turn the fan on and it trips as soon as I engage it in the On position.
