GE washer timer making a buzzing noise.Is there a fix?

Hi guys.I noticed my washer works fine but when it goes into agitate mode the timer makes a buzzing sound.The agitating drowns it out a little but when you lift the lid it can get really loud.Is there a fix for this or is the timer going bad? Thanks in advance!
