subcooling, pressures, and ambient temperature
I am looking at a Trane XB13, with TXV, 410a, that calls for 11*F subcooling. What would you expect the liquid line temp to be with an outside air temp about 75*F, inside 74*. Does this varies with different units?
My liquid line is showing 72 -73*, following Trane method, I would need to bring my liquid line pressure to about 255psi to achieve 11* subcool, and doing so yields about 107psi on the suction line pressure - is that a little low although the unit seems to be cooling with about 20* across the coil? from a 10* it yielded before.
With all things been equal, would these pressures change in summer weather - 90*F+.
