Transition Baseboards Across Different Floor Levels (1.5in diff from rm 2 rm)

I have a 1.5in transition down from my kitchen to my living room. Both involve connecting outside corners, where the connecting living room piece is 1.5in's lower than the kitchen. I understand I could put a 1.5in strip under the molding to match but am trying to avoid as that would be need for the entire room.
