Mold/Mildew on Xmas Misfit toys- HELP!

Hi, Any advice for cleaning my "seasonal" stuffed critters? They have some visible black mold/mildew on them (mostly on the cardboard tags) but clearly should be tossed if were to be used by children or in a bedroom, etc... Wonder if would be salvageable to place on a table if washed properly in some type of ?vinegar solution or hot water then in the dryer or somehow? I can't dry in sun as in Boston and it's pretty COLD here now (likely would freeze) Stored them in plastic bag in supposedly dry basement- not sure WHAT happened??? Need to toss Everything in the bag now due to this finding- such a shame! Lots of nice items. Looked in other bags and similar findings in "some" other bags but not all of them~ Grrr. But these are sentimental. Thanks!
