Reinstall Culligan System that's been sitting in my garage

I have a Culligan Medalist water system we originally purchased new in 2007. When we moved I took the system with me but didn't install right away as we were renting. So now it's been 3 yrs and we're moving again and I want to reinstall the system at the new place. Will this work? I was told that they can go bad by not being used. This is way out of my field so looking for some good advice. Can/should I reinstall? Possible/known challenges in doing so? Advice/recommendations? Thanks everyone!
